Newcastle United Football Club

Having previously worked with Farpoint for a number of years they were the first company I looked towards when developing the Performance Analysis Department at Newcastle United.

The service that Mark Hooper and Farpoint provide is exceptional and unrivalled in the provision and service of Apple Products. The demands of elite sports are such that there can be no time or room for error and working side by side with Farpoint ensures that we have not only the best products on the market but, more importantly, 24/7 care and service for them.

We run all of our live match analysis using the SportsCode Elite software from Two Mac Book Pros. The window for presenting video and statistical feedback to the team at half-time is short and the efficiency of the Mac Book Pros provide us with maximum performance and 100% reliability in an environment where every second counts.

We house our entire scouting library for game preparation, archives of our season's games and share files and documents across a network covering the entire training ground on an xServe Solution, which provides rapid data transfer even with large video files.

The server is impressive in its ability to smoothly run the same video and music files simultaneously across a number of purpose built iMac stations within our players' lounge.

Furthermore, we are secure in the knowledge that our sensitive information is fully backed up and can be managed remotely from the Farpoint office. As I do, our players also look first to Farpoint for their own personal needs; from iPods to iPhones and iMacs to Mac Books, they are never disappointed in the value and service provided.

As a professional business meeting the extensive demands of Newcastle United I would not hesitate to recommend Mark and his team whatever your needs.
